A new play by Gorilla Theatre founder Aubrey Hampton, Elizabeth and Edward dips into the history of Elizabethan England; the world of Marlowe, Bacon, and the man we call "Shakespeare". Based on documented details in the lives of Queen Elizabeth I and Edward de Vere, the play speculates that de Vere was the real author of "Shakespeare"s masterpieces.
